A group of Irianese people who claim to be members of the Free Papua Movement (OPM) show a picture of their local leader and the group's flag during a protest in Jakarta February 16. The group are demanding Independence for Irian Jaya, on the western side of New Guinea island, after 35 years being part of Indonesia. The Indonesian military in Irian Jaya have been accused of human rights abuses in the easternmost province.
