Simanjutak said Indonesian president Abdurrahman Wahid has not changed his opinion that Wiranto should resign. But following a three-hour meeting between Wahid, Wiranto, Vice President Megawati Sukarnoputri and Attorney-General Marzuki Darusman, it appeared a compromise may have been reached allowing Wiranto to stay in the cabinet for now.
