Hundreds of Madurese refugees in Indonesia's strife-torn West Kalimantan province refuse to be evacuated from their camps despite a recent attack by locals. Pontianak is ringed by refugee camps where thousands of Madurese are still sheltering after ethnic tension boiled over into bloodshed in 1999.
