University students clash with riot police during a protest in West Java town of Bandung May 21. Police beat the students with rattan sticks after they tried to enter a state radio office. The students were said to be trying to broadcast their demand for Suharto to face trial over corruption allegations. About 10 students suffered minor injuries.
