Indonesian police use a water cannon to disperse thousands of protesting workers in Indonesia's second largest city of Surabaya February 17. Witnesses said hundreds of troops used batons to break up a protest at least 5,000 workers of household goods maker PT Maspion, who had been trying to break through army barricades and advance on the city centre protesting for pay increases.
