Alvin Steffey, an aspiring model and actor, speaks at a press conference, in Hollywood, California, June 19 responding to questions of his inheritance of a $1 million insurance policy from Dr. Stephen Gross of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Steffey met Gross via the internet four months ago through Steffey's web site. Gross was found slain June 10, 1998, in Lower Marion, Pennsylvania. Steffey has since taken a lie detector test and was subsequently declared a non-suspect by a law enforcenment source.
