EDITORS' NOTE: Reuters and other foreign media are subject to Iranian restrictions on their ability to film or take pictures in Tehran.

Sajjad Ghaderzadeh and his mother Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, an Iranian woman sentenced to death by stoning, enter a suite as they meet each other at a provincial welfare organisation in Tabriz, 633 km (396 miles) northwest of Tehran, January 1, 2011. Ghaderzadeh asked the Iranian judiciary on Saturday to spare his mother's life. Ashtiani has been accused of adultery and of being complicit in her husband's murder but her sentence to be stoned to death was suspended after an international outcry.
