BRITISH SOLDIERS INVESTIGATE SAFWAN'S POST OFFICE.
British Royal marines secure Safwan's post office prior to a meeting between
local leaders and British forces April 14, 2003. British forces are trying
to organize a meeting with local elders to restore law and order in the
small border town. Widespread looting erupted after Saddam Hussein's Baath
party officials fled their local posts, crippling infrastructure and
