The body of British Lance Corporal Karl Shearer arrives at RAF (Royal
Air Force) Brize Norton in Oxfordshire, Britain, April 15, 2003. Lance
Corporal Shearer, 24, of the Blues and Royals (Household Cavalry) was
killed in an accident during the Iraq conflict when his armoured
Scimitar light tank overturned. He was married and leaves a
three-year-old daughter. The bodies of seven British servicemen killed
in the Iraq conflict arrived at Brize Norton for repatriation on
