US CIVILIAN ADMINISTRATOR IN IRAQ BREMER MEETS WITH TRIBAL LEADERS.
L. Paul Bremer, the U.S. civilian administrator in Iraq (C), poses with
Iraqi tribal leaders in South Central Iraq after their summit Saturday
June 14, 2003 in Hillah, 100 kilometers south of Baghdad. Bremer
presided the summit, the first gathering of some 15 tribal leaders that
extends to about three million Iraqis, to discuss various issues in
rehabilitating the country following the fall of Saddam Hussein.
