AN IRAQI MAN RIDES BETWEEN U.S. ARMY VEHICLES ON PATROL IN IRAQI TOWN
OF DULUIYAH.
An Iraqi man rides between U.S. Army vehicles from Task Force
"Ironhorse" on a street patrol in the Iraqi town of Duluiyah during
Operation Peninsula Strike June 12, 2003 in which coalition forces
detained over 400 suspects and numerous weapons systems and ammunition.
U.S. Central Command said that starting on June 9th, the "Task Force
Ironhorse" soldiers conducted a series of raids to eradicate Ba'ath
Party loyalists, paramilitary groups and other subversive elements
located on a peninsula along the Tigris River, northeast of Iraq's
