drives towards the outskirts of the restive Iraqi town of Falluja early
July 11, 2003. Iraqi police in Falluja threatened yesterday to quit if
U.S. forces, perceived as a threat to their position amid an overnight
rocket grenade attack, did not leave the central police station. By
morning all American units had pulled out from the post.
