Friends and family members of United States Marine Corps Lance Cpl.
Brian Anderson grieve during a graveside service held in his honor at
Beechwood Cemetery in Durham, North Carolina April 15, 2003. Anderson,
who was stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, died in an accident
near Nasiriyah, Iraq, while participating in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Anderson is the second North Carolina native killed in the war in Iraq.
