Bert Berger, the stepfather of Danielle Groenleer, from Appeldoom, Netherlands, has a pet ferret follow him to the courtroom at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina for the court-martial of Marine pilot Capt. Richarrd Ashby. Danielle Berger was killed when Ashby's EA-6B Prowler struck a pair of lift cables, sending the ski gondola plunging nearly 400 feet (120 metres) to the ground.
