NAVIGATOR SCHWEITZER LEAVES COURTROOM AFTER VERDICT.
Marine Captain Joseph Schweitzer (R) and Navy Lt. Kathryn Clune leave the courtroom March 4 at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina after a military jury found Marine pilot Richard Ashby not guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the deaths of 20 people when his jet sheared lift cables near an Italian ski village last year. Schweitzer, Ashby's navigator at the time of the accident, was set to be court-martialed in a separate trial later this month.
