A man holds onto his lit-up bike as police patrol a protest at Fori Imperiali street, during the ceremony to inaugurate a scheme that bans private vehicles on it, in Rome August 3, 2013. The protesters were rallying against what they said was "Rome's garbage dump near Divino Amore Sanctuary". A busy road that cuts through Rome's ancient forum to the Colosseum was blocked to private traffic on Saturday, in the first stage of a plan to pedestrianise the area that has angered some locals but which the mayor says is of global importance.
