Italian Prime Massimo D'Alema uses a sore-throat remedy during a confidence vote in Italy's Chamber of Deputies October 23. D'Alema won a confidence vote on his centre-left government's programme in the lower house. In the vote, 333 deputies backed D'Alema with 281 against and three abstensions.
