Nuns shield sun from their eyes as they stroll through St. Peter's Square which is decorated with flags to welcome youths arriving from all over the world for the World Youth Day celebrations, one of the highlights of the Jubilee 2000 year's events August 12, 2000. A million young people are expected to attend ceremonies which start August 15 and run till August 20th. Pope John Paul II will hold three special ceremonies during the Youth Jamboree.
