Some forty men show the strain as they race down a steep hill in San Filippo Siriaco carrying a large Jesus Christ May 19, 2001. The traditional ceremony which dates back to 1765 sees local residents pour out into the hills and cheer on their men as they manoeuver a large Christ at speed through the Sicilian countryside.
