Salvage crew workers are seen in front of the capsized cruise liner Costa Concordia after the start of the "parbuckling" operation outside Giglio harbour September 16, 2013. Engineering teams began lifting the wrecked liner upright on Monday, the start of one of the most complex and costly maritime salvage operations ever attempted. The operation will see the ship rotated by a series of cranes and hydraulic machines, pulling the hulk from above and below and slowly twisting it upright.
