Nikon Corp's Mio Sento shows off the new Coolpix 950 compact ultrahigh-resolution digital camera at an unveiling at company headquarters in Tokyo February 15. The camera boasts 2.11-megapixel picture quality, a 3x Zoom Nikkor lens with focal range of 7-21mm, equivalent to 38-115mm in the 35mm camera format, and is 350 grams in weight with its body built from magnesium. The camera goes on the market March 25 at 125,000 yen (US$1100) and will also soon be available worldwide, Nikon said.
