A woman takes a picture of candle lights forming the characters of "Love and Smile" with her smart phone during the million people's candle night event at Zojoji Temple in Tokyo June 16, 2012. The event was organized to get people thinking about energy conservation and boosting the use of environmentally-friendly energy by turning off lights. Japan on Saturday approved the resumption of nuclear power operations at two reactors despite mass public opposition, the first to come back on line after they were all shut down following the Fukushima crisis. Nuclear power supplied almost 30 percent of electricity needs before the March 2011 disaster, which triggered meltdowns at Fukushima, spewing radiation and forcing mass evacuations.
