The two-legged "Land Walker" fires a sponge ball during a demonstation in Shinto village, north of Tokyo May 19, 2005. The 3.4 meter-high (11 ft) robot, which was inspired by Gundam, a popular Japanese animated series, can walk forwards, backwards or sideways. The Land Walker is manufactured by Japan's Sakakibara Kikai Co. and costs 36 million yen ($335,000) but can also be hired by the day. REUTERS/Toru Hanai TH/MSF
