The two-legged "Land Walker" fires a sponge ball during a demonstation in Shinto village, north of Tokyo May 19, 2005. The 3.4 meter-high (11 ft) robot, which was inspired by Gundam, a popular Japanese animated series, can walk forwards, backwards or sideways.
