Japan's maestro Seiji Ozawa rehearses with world famous cellist Mstislav Rostropovich (L) and the Saito Kien Orchestra in Matsumoto, Japan September 1, 2005. The tousle-headed maestro, who turned 70 on Thursday, became music director of the Vienna State Opera in 2002 after almost three decades in a similar job at the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
