ULTRA-ORTHODOX JEWS BOIL COOKING UTENSILS IN WATER IN JERUSALEM.
Ultra-Orthodox Jews boil cooking utensils in water in Jerusalem April
14, 2003 as part of preparations for the festival of Passover. Jews
believe their ancestors, in fleeing Egyptian bondage, did not have time
to prepare leavened break. At Passover, only unleavened matza bread is
eaten, and especially devout Jews go as far as to "cleanse" their homes
of any trace of leaven. REUTERS/Gil Cohen Magen
