ALLEGED BINLADEN SUPPORTER SAMMAR SHOUTS BEFORE ENTERING COURT.
Osama Sammar, 28, a leading defendant among 28 suspects on trial in the state security court on charges of alleged ties with Moslem militant Osama bin Laden shouts "God is Great" from a police truck on his arrival at the military court in Amman May 31. The trial, which begun last month, continues to hear testimony of prosecution witnesses who have told the court the group had in their possession remote control detonators for use in carrying out bombings of Western targets in Amman. Afganistan-based Bin Laden is wanted by the United States in connection with bomb attacks on U.S. embassies in East Africa that killed more than 200 people in 1998.
