Kashmiri Muslim activists hold banners during a protest against Valentine's Day in Srinagar
Kashmiri Muslim activists of the Dukhtaran-e-Milat (Daughters of the Muslim faith) hold banners during a protest against Valentine's Day in Srinagar February 14, 2006. Dukhtaran-e-Milat last year formed the group's "Maryam Squad" -- named after the Virgin Mary -- which stormed suspected brothels and liquor shops to stop prostitution and what it called Kashmir's "moral decline". The squad on Tuesday held a protest during which they raided many shops and burnt Valentine cards as part of their campaign. REUTERS/Danish Ismail
