CONVOY OF BUSES CARRYING HINDU PILGRIMS HEAD FOR SHRINE IN KASHMIR.

miles) southeast of Srinagar, July 11, 2003. More than 3,000 Hindu
devotees began an annual pilgrimage to a mountain cave shrine in Indian
Kashmir amid tight security to prevent gunmen who have attacked the
trek in the past. Nearly 120,000 pilgrims are expected to perfrom this
year's pilgrimage to the cave during the month-long festival.
