Scientists from the Kenya Wildlife Services (KWS) and International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) dart an elephant from a helicopter at the Tsavo East National Park March 15, 2011. The scientists have started collaring the elephants with GPS communication technology to assist in the mapping out of their migratory routes and corridors in the park and its buffer zones.
