The cloned dog Snuppy, an Afghan hound, impregnated two dogs through artificial insemination to produce 10 puppies, which were born in May. Snuppy was produced in 2005 by a lab once headed by Hwang Woo-suk, who fell from grace after two of his papers on cloning human embryonic stem cells were found to be based on fabricated data.
