College students attend a rally demanding tuition fee cut in central Seoul June 29, 2011. Thousands of students, farmers, workers and citizens demonstrated on Wednesday to demand conglomerate-friendly, anti-North Korean, conservative and right-wing President Lee Myung-bak stop the plan to go for the free trade agreement (FTA) between the U.S. and South Korea, fulfil his presidential election pledge to cut tuition fees by half and raise minimum wages, which is currently 4,320 Korean won ($4.02) an hour. The Korean characters on a sign reads,"Put into practice the plan to cut tuition fees by half immediately without conditions!".
