South Korean Kim, whose younger brother and cousin were abducted by North Korea in February in 1974,...
South Korean Kim Yang-ja, 64, whose younger brother Kim Seok-man and cousin Park Bok-man were abducted by North Korea in February in 1974, cries at an event where the names of thousands of South Korean abductees were called out at the Imjinkak pavilion in Paju near the demilitarized zone separating the two Koreas, about 55 km (34 miles) north of Seoul, September 2, 2007, a month before the October 2-4 inter-Korean summit to be held in Pyongyang. Attendants demanded that leaders of the two Koreas settle the issue of the South Korean abductees at the summit. The sign reads: "Return the South Korean abductees. We oppose the inter-Korean summit which does not support reforming the human right issue in the North". REUTERS/Lee Jae-Won (SOUTH KOREA)
