Park Sang-hak, a former North Korean defector and an anti-North Korea activist living in South Korea, fires a tear gas pistol in Imjinkak pavilion near the demilitarised zone (DMZ) separating the two Koreas in Paju, about 55 km (34 miles) north of Seoul, December 2, 2008. An anti-North Korea group led by Park demanded improvements of North Korea's human rights and the release of South Koreans abducted by the North. The group released anti-North Korean leaflets in a balloon towards the North on Tuesday as a progressive pro-unification group blocked them. North Korea has complained about the leaflets, threatened to attack the South and restricted entry to South Korean workers at an inter-Korean industrial enclave in the North.
