Visitors look north at an observation platform at Imjingak pavilion near the demilitarized zone separating North and South Korea in Paju, about 55 km (34 miles) north of Seoul, June 5, 2011, on the eve of South Korea's Memorial Day to commemorate fallen patriots in the 1950-53 Korean War. The two Koreas are technically still at war and station about 1 million troops near their respective sides of the demilitarised zone that has divided the peninsula since the Korean War ended in a ceasefire, but not a peace treaty.
