South Korean soldiers open a gate leading into the dimilitarized zone
seperating the two Koreas near Dorasan station, north of Seoul, on
September 18, 2002, as smoke from a nearby ground breaking ceremony
drifts by. Long-time rivals South and North Korea began work on
Wednesday to relink railways and roads, in landmark events symbolically
