SOUTH KOREAN SOLDIERS GATHER TO TAKE A SOUVENIR PHOTO IN FRONT OF A
SIGN POINTING TO PYONGYANG.
South Korean soldiers gather to take a souvenir photo in front of a
sign pointing to Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, at Dorasan
station in Paju, about 50km north of Seoul February 12, 2002. The
Dorasan station is the last station on South Korea's border with North
Korea on a line that has been severed since 1950. North Korea and South
Korea vowed in 2000 to restore the cross-border Kyungui rail route and
to reunite divided family members. But the construction is not yet
completed and an exchange of elderly Koreans which was sheduled for
last October was postponed by the North. REUTERS/Kim Kyung-hoon
