SOUTH KOREANS TRAIN TO OVERCOME CRISIS IN KANGHWA ISLAND.
South Korean university students perform early morning exercises at a South Korean Marine Corps base in Kanghwa Island January 12. The South Korean marines run a regular five day, four night course for citizens to undergo a harsh regime of calisthetics, rock climbing and military discipline. There is a waiting list to attend one of the popular courses, designed to boost a citizen's confidence to the point where they feel they are strong enough to overcome the ongoing financial crisis.
