A SOUTH KOREAN PROTESTER SHOUTS ANTI-US SLOGANS IN SEOUL.
A South Korean protester shouts anti-US slogans during a protest near US Forces Korea (USFK) headquarters in Seoul December 6, 2000. U.S. officials from Washington attend a meeting for coordination of the findings of investigations on a massacre, which U.S troops had killed hundreds of Korean civilians including children in No gun-ri, south of Seoul in the early chaotic days of the 1950-53 Korean War. Hudreds of protesters asked for withdrawal of USFK from Korean peninsula and the sweeping revision of SOFA (Status of Forces Agreement), which governs the legal privileges and immunities of U.S soldiers in Korea.
