A South Korean police officer stands guard behind a picture of a bloody Daewoo Motor union worker who was injured during a recent clash with riot police near the automaker's main plant in Pupyong, during the hardline umbrella union KCTU's protest march in Seoul April 21, 2001. Hundreds of workers gathered on Saturday to protest against riot police's violent repression of fired Daewoo Motor union workers and demanded President Kim Dae-jung step down.
