UNION WORKERS CHANT SLOGANS NEAR THE WORLD CUP STADIUM IN SEOUL.
Unionised workers at Yujin Transportation Co chant slogans during a protest rally near the Seoul World Cup stadium, currently under construction in Seoul April 6, 2001. About 200 protesters from the hard-line Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, mostly cement-mixing truck drivers and tower crane operators, demanded higher salaries and better working conditions. They also sought the government to approve their status as an official labour group. Headband reads "Defend the right to live to the last".
