French KFOR soldiers walk in front of burning shops June 26 looking for looters in the gypsy neighborhood of Kosova Mitrovica, northwest of Pristina. Thousands of gypsies are fleeing their homes -- set ablaze by ethnic Albanians who accuse them of collaborating with their Serb oppressors. Looting and burning continue throughout the troubled province despite the presence of NATO peacekeepers.
