PARATROOPERS JUMP OVER SAINT MERE EGLISE AS PART OF ACTIVITIES TO MARK 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF D-DAY.
Some 600 American and French paratroopers jump, June 5, 2004 over La Fiere, near Sainte-Mere-Eglise to commemorate the liberation of the village by the 82nd and the 101st U.S. Airborne Divisions on June 6th 1944.
