Em Khamri, a Syrian refugee woman from Raqqa, checks on her twin girls inside their tent in an informal settlement in Deir al-Ahmar, Bekaa valley September 16, 2014. Em Khamri and her family fled from Raqqa to Lebanon about five months ago fearing clashes between Islamic state fighters and forces loyal to Syria's president Bashar al-Assad. The whole family tries to work in the fields surrounding their tent, but still cannot afford to provide her daughters with milk as she has problems breastfeeding, Em Khamri said. Senior UN officials visited Syrian refugees, who now make up one-fourth of Lebanon's entire population, in the Bekaa region on Tuesday and called for the international community to assist the Lebanese government in dealing with the refugee crisis.
