A single red rose sits on the "Imagine" circle mosaic in the area known as "Strawberry Fields" in New York's Central Park in memory of slain ex-Beatle John Lennon, December 7, 2000. Lennon, who was murdered on December 8, 1980 as he arrived home to the Dakota apartment building accross the street from the park, will be remembered on the 20th anniversary of his death December 8 with a candle light vigil in and around Strawberry Fields.
