The exterior view of Les Philosophes (The Philosophers) cafe in Paris where a new toilet has been installed is shown. A handful of imaginative young designers have begun revitalising the image of Parisian restaurants' and cafes' dingy toilets and washrooms. Using custom-built steel fittings and everything from cheeky peep-holes to live goldfish, some of Paris's oldest public loos have been transformed into havens of wacky chic that have the city's trendiest cafe-goers queuing up to spend a penny.
