People of Basothu wearing tradition blankets arrive for the second day of the Royal Wedding ceremony of Lesotho King Letsie III and his new 23-year-old wife, Karabo Motsoeneng, at Lerebe, east of Maseru February 19. The new Lesotho King who was sworn in as Basotho monarch in February 1996 succeeded his late father King Moshoeshoe II, giving Motsoeneng's family 40 head of cattle in "lobola" or dowry.
