Turkish Red Crescent boxes containing humanitarian aid and first aid kits are loaded onto a ship at the Mediterranean port of Marmaris February 24, 2011. Some 3,000 Turks who had found sanctuary in a soccer stadium in Benghazi arrived in southwest Turkey on Thursday after making a 20-hour journey across the Mediterranean by ferry boats escorted by a Turkish frigate. Turkey has said the safety of its nationals in Libya was its first priority. There were around 25,000 Turkish citizens in Libya before the violence broke out and Turkey is mounting the biggest evacuation operation in its history.
