FILE PHOTO OF CONGRESSMAN GARY CONDIT.
Rep. Gary Condit, said to have admitted to having an affair with
missing intern Chandra Levy according to police sources, will break his
public silence on the case on August 24, 2001 during an ABC interview,
his spokeswoman said on August 20. Condit, shown during an agriculture
committee meeting July 17, has been interviewed by police four times
about the disappearance of Levy, but authorities have said that there
is no evidence any crime was committed and that he is not a suspect.
