Slow Food International Vice President Giacomo Mojoli (R) and other
members of the movement relish Buddhist recipes such as vegetables
stewed in red bean miso soup and fresh bean curd at a temple in the
outskirts of Kyoto June 14, 2003. The non-profit Slow Food movement is
calling to restore Japan's gastronomic tradition and is gaining
support, and organisers predict more will soon rally to their cause of
putting more time and effort into eating - and producing - good food.
