A RARE LITHOPAEDION IS SHOWN IN TAIPEI.
A Taiwan medical staff at the Veterans General Hospital in Taipei January 5, shows a rare lithopaedion, also called stone child, conceived by a 76-year-old Taiwan woman 49 years ago. The calcified foetus, which died when the woman was in the 20th week of pregnancy, was probably the third known case in medical history.
